What I liked
The a powerful tool for recovering addicts or those who want to understand them
What I didn't like
It may be more convincing to add the personal, differentiating details about the “why” of alcoholism of two family members in what appeared to be a very loving working class to middle class family. Genetic? Too high expectations? Cultural?
Reaction of family members, (eg the daughter’s quiet comments during rehabilitation revealing in such an innocent, heartbreaking way to be unable to avoid impending peril that was always present and she had never been able to mention or do anything about, resonated more than anything else
My overall impression
The show was a heartfelt, candid account of (alcohol) addiction and recovery.
