What I didn't like
I would have liked to know more details about her process of recovery. Recovering from addiction is no easy feat and I felt the struggles she may have gone through in the subsequent years of sobriety could have had more stage time.
My overall impression
Sigute’s story is an inspiration. She combines storytelling with poetry into beautiful hypnotic theater.
The power of solo theater is its ability to be transformative to the audience. Overall the story is about hope and resilience.
It takes great bravery to lay your soul bare to an audience and this story is nothing short of brave. An outstanding work of theatrical art.
