What I liked
I loved Sigute’s ability to share her deeply personal story with such honesty, humor, and song. I liked how her use of the word “blackout “effectively accentuated the mood and story line. I enjoyed the visuals and loved her songs that helped punctuate her dual life. I was pulled into her story, I laughed as she shared stories from her childhood, felt the fear of the consequences of her addiction and marveled at her strength to achieve sobriety.
What I didn't like
Perhaps some other prop.
My overall impression
Powerful one woman show! Sigute is a fabulous actress presenting an honest, dramatic, comic, tragic, yet hopeful story of self-awareness and journey from addiction to sobriety.
