What I liked

I cannot emphasize enough how expertly crafted this story is. The humor, the honesty — it’s a fascinating look into Jon’s past, struggling to come to terms with his quirks, his sexuality and the pain of his complicated relationship with his absent father. But I love how he took us on a journey that mirrored his own, how he went from pain to empowerment by ultimately reframing the label “Black Bastard” — in the most brilliantly, epic “Shakespearean” way.

What I didn't like

Not a thing!

My overall impression

This show is absolutely phenomenal, on every level. I was blown away by Jon’s performance — his ability to embody a wide range of characters from different aspects of his life is incredible to watch. His story is beautifully crafted, with endearing moments of levity and emotional gut punches that are deeply moving and thought provoking.
