Combining a lyrical rap poetry style of storytelling with comedic and sometimes confrontational personal truths, this autobiographical solo show is about the story of a transgender man who grew up on Bollywood and the Fresh Prince of Bel Air while living in the American south. We dive into how these identities played into his views on his body, relationships, and his sense of self worth. Ultimately, this work aims investigate how the things that make us “other” can either be the things that silence us or they can be the things that give us our voice.
