I loved the subtle ways Michael included the audience throughout the play, whether it was a silly side eye, a comment directed to us, or blatant target audience participation! It was hilarious and fun to be a part of. I also think the writing is smart and amazing, and he kept us invested emotionally while demonstrating the wildest of sexual escapades.

My overall impression
Dickin’ Around is a masterpiece in vulnerability, comedy, and delicate storytelling. Michael invites us into the more intimate part of his life straight away with great dialogue and especially amazing physical comedy! The audience is along for the ride on his journey of sexual exploration post heartbreak, and it’s a blast the entire time.
