What I liked
I loved the blocking, props, set, costuming, and vision! This was a truly creative story and it was really brought to life in an intimate way through the stage direction and strong commitment of the actors! A very solid show all around, with no detail overlooked.
What I didn't like
I’d like to see a little more contrast between how far along the twins are in the process of mourning their mother versus the immediacy of potentially losing each other. But that’s nitpicking. I truly think this show is so beautiful and that it tells an important story of love, acceptance and healing.
My overall impression
Beautifully performed and wonderfully immersive. The imagination put into creating a clear and compelling allegorical story and the innovation of presenting and blocking it in the space was truly outstanding! I especially enjoyed how much of a home the space was and how clearly at home the characters were. The actors are so clearly keyed into each other and their stories, I hope to see it again!
