Certainly almost everyone must know something about Elizabeth Taylor, either for her beauty, childhood to adult movie star roles, her many marriages and children, extravagant lifestyle, love of expensive jewels, and ultimately her stand on fighting HIV/AIDS. But Kayla Boye takes us inside the woman who lived through it all and had a wonderful time enjoying herself, especially when a bottle of champagne was involved. I know I learned more about Elizabeth, including she hated to be called Liz, thanks to Kayla's magnificent portrayal and extensive research into the violet-eyed beauty's life. ... full review

Call Me Elizabeth offers a fascinating and intimate look into Elizabeth Taylor’s life, capturing the intense pressure of navigating fame, personal crises, and romantic entanglements in Hollywood’s Golden Age. Kayla Boye masterfully embodies Taylor, delivering a performance that feels both authentic and deeply personal. Her portrayal reminds us of the vulnerabilities behind the icon, allowing audiences to see beyond the glamour and fame. The set design and dialogue further enhance the intimate atmosphere, making you feel as though you’re sitting across from the legend herself.... full review

What a beautiful actress Kayla Boye is. I love that she chose to portray Elizabeth Taylor since she does indeed resemble her. I was very impressed by the elegant set, her fabulous black dress and gorgeous hair. Her voice and cadence as Elizabeth Taylor was genuine as she tells the story of life to the figure writing her biography. I thought it was informative and well written. As another reviewer wrote, yes, this show is extremely polished. She knows exactly when to do what and no moves are wasted. Her expressions all stem from organic places and she's very elegant always. ... full review
