Queen of Fishtown is a delightful mix of comedy and heart, and had me quite literally laughing one minute and wiping tears the next. Writer/performer Katierose Donohue Enriquez brings considerable talent to the stage and deftly guides the audience through the compelling, original story of an oft forgotten hero: the working class woman. ... full review

Heartfelt story of what it means to be from Philly. Katierose had the audience so captivated. Her portrayal of all of the characters in her story was so believable, I forgot it was a one woman show. I am in awe of this amazingly talented actress and I just can’t wait to see what happens next for her and this show. This show is what the Fringe is all about and is a MUST see. ... full review

Queen of Fishtown is like if “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” had a tender side. Amid the hilarious situational and physical comedy you start to see that there’s a strong, well thought out, original, and inspiring story. It’s like being transported and immersed in a neighborhood in Philly for an hour with a friend you never knew you wanted in your life. ... full review

Katierose Enriquez walks into the theater and transforms the space into her front stoop in Fishtown, a area of Philadelphia she has called home her entire life. With accent firmly in place and a potty mouth to match her strong personality, Katierose uses humor to the fullest to present "Kathleen" whose argumentative nature is about to get the best of her. Ultimately the show is about how change is the only real constant in life and if you want to survive, it's best to put your anger and expectations aside and "grow up."... full review

Why can’t we have more leading women with anger issues?! WHO SAID? Because I LIVED for this angry queen’s trials and tribulations. Katierose single handedly puts Walter White in a corner. This show is like if a note on your car’s windshield saying to move your car and a love letter to the East Coast had a baby. Don’t get it? Watch the damn show.... full review

Equal parts Talent, Heart, and fly by the seat of your pants Wit, Katierose is the kind of performer who understands how work a damn room. She instantly created a lasting personal alliance with her audience and brought us into her masterfully conjured world - and I guarantee you, after that ride no one in our audience will be able to ever think about the city of Philadelphia without thinking of Katierose. She’s put herself on the same level as Rocky for me.... full review

The quality of this show cannot be overstated. Katierose embodies the scrappy but charming, loving but fierce, and grounded but scared Kathleen in this riveting, hilarious solo show. From the second the show starts, you know you're in good hands and NO B.S. will be served for the entire hour. It's thoughtful substance all the way through. I laughed so hard and so often. I could literally feel my empathy expand. And I questioned my own life choices. It was everything you could possibly ask for in a piece of theatre. GO! SEE! IT!... full review
