Adding new elements, if not careful, can sometimes dilute or complicate the simple, profound themes that Undertale Yellow is so successful at conveying.
What I didn't like
The soundtrack is a huge part of Undertale Yellow, with some memorable and emotional tracks. An expansion could invest more in creating new tunes, incorporating unique musical elements to enrich the atmosphere and help players immerse themselves in the game’s world.
My overall impression
Undertale Yellow subtly weaves new characters and personalities into the already familiar universe of the original game, creating a smooth and engaging expansion. Not only does it maintain the signature spirit of Undertale, it also enriches the story, giving players a fresh experience that still feels closely tied to the world they’ve grown to love.
