What I liked
Shelley Cooper’s performance is filled with such conviction and authority that it kept me rapt from the beginning. Between her sentences was not silence, but expectation. Cooper absolutely nailed Callas’ regal confidence, as well as the harder-to-capture moments of vulnerability and cracks in the armor.
Supplementing the narrative were pitch-perfect operatic excerpts, all the more impressive for being delivered out of context, and sometimes with no accompaniment. It’s a joy to see so much refined talent at work.
What I didn't like
Add more performance dates.

You don’t need to be an opera aficionado to be blown away by this powerful portrayal of a legendary artist.
