I liked all of it! I’m a big history buff though, so I definitely enjoyed learning some of her history, especially her WWII stories.
What I didn't like
Nothing, honestly
My overall impression
Shelley Cooper’s voice could be on opera stages anywhere in the world, and I feel lucky to have gotten to experience it firsthand, live, in an intimate setting! And it isn’t just the sheer power and range and beauty of her voice which took my breath away; it is the feeling and emotion in it, as well – it is palpable. The same goes for her grounded, strong, moving theatrical performance which had incredible depth to it.
