What I liked
I liked the challenging balance of view points. I also thought the staging was beautiful accented with lighting and sound.
What I didn't like
Most of the improvements would have to do with the loss of some impact as a result of virtually viewing the show. The delivery was solid over all, but I’m clear there’s moments that would have been clearer and more powerful in person.
My overall impression
STILL WAITING FOR LEFTY pulls back the curtain on some of toughest ethical questions and social concerns that have been pulled to the forefront in these incredibly trying times. The writing tackles these things from the micro, versus the macro, inviting us into intimate, personal conversations that demand you to examine your own point of view – and what you are willing to stand for. Beautifully written and beautifully executed by the team at Theatre Unleashed.
