John Meehan was happy working at one of the biggest sports bars in Boston right outside Fenway Park. Or at least he portrayed he was happy on the outside, but on the inside he wanted something more for himself. For a while he was content with serving shots of courage, pints filled with a sense of purpose or laughter and pitchers filled with fame. He was pursuing acting but always let the self doubt, negativity and the comfort of having steady job discourage him from full-filling his dream. Until one fateful night where a friend gave him permission to step out of his comfort zone from behind the bar and plant his feet on his true path. He did all of this in an effort to live a life of no regrets. All he needed was a shot of courage. This is a comedic telling of those events.
