Though executed with sophistication, this remains an Imaginative and Ideal hour-long musical with which to introduce school youngsters to Live Theatre! Why isn't it in the LA curriculum already? Cast = energetic and gave it their All; song score = swell and well-slotted (but not always 100% adept); minimal Sets and Costumes tickle the imagination. I enjoyed all of it---EXCEPT Lighting Design & execution, which didn't seem to be in sync with the staging! Lots of moments left cast (and audience) literally In The Dark! This = 1st preview with 5 more weekend 200PM matinees to get this part of their act together! I hope they do! ... full review
