Director Cameron Watson has done an excellent job in pacing this show. There were so many opportunities for it to bog down, but it didn’t. The burning questions as to the whereabouts of the pivotal character Stella is satisfyingly resolved.
What I didn't like
I’m not going to say it was an impeccably crafted jewel but, in the universe of Fringe, I can’t imagine a single thing that could have been improved.
My overall impression
Oh, the people one meets on the bus! Alas, this is an event occasioned by the unfortunate circumstance of being ill in America while being impecunious. O’Brien has a deft hand with character and by the end of the show you feel as if you’ve met at least three dozen (I wasn’t counting, though). The characterizations are always enlightening and never condescending. The performer is adept at addressing issues that feel as if they should be uncomfortable but feel more like confidences from a new best friend.
