What I liked
The stories and the way the show was structured around them. The characters, clearly portrayed. Many are hilarious the way Rebecca presents them. And a lot of wisdom comes through them. Rebecca’s ability to make us feel different emotions and react in so many ways simply by changing the expression on her face. The one raised eyebrow made me laugh every time.
What I didn't like
For me, it all worked and worked well.
My overall impression
I greatly enjoyed “Getting There”! It was witty, funny, poignant and so well-crafted. Rebecca was on point throughout the show, keeping us, the audience, engaged the whole time-laughing, crying, feeling deeply and learning.
She moves from character to character seamlessly and each character is unique with a distinct point of view.
Rebecca shares not only humor and poignancy, but wisdom, for connecting with others and for living life well. She and her show are an inspiration!
