Must See Show! This show will be extended to be sure!! I absolutely loved Rebecca O'Brien in this solo show. Her portrayals of the characters she encounters in her adventures on public transport are so clear we can visualize them right in front of us. She was funny and endearing thru out the performance. ...

A very moving portrait of Rebecca O’Brien who did not let a difficult cancer or lack of financial means to make the journey easier diminish her vibrant spirit and ability to bloom wherever she was planted…especially on the #217 Fairfax Ave. Bus! A great story beautifully told!...

Oh, the people one meets on the bus! Alas, this is an event occasioned by the unfortunate circumstance of being ill in America while being impecunious. O'Brien has a deft hand with character and by the end of the show you feel as if you've met at least three dozen (I wasn't counting, though). The characterizations are always enlightening and never condescending. The performer is adept at addressing issues that feel as if they should be uncomfortable but feel more like confidences from a new best friend....

Ms. O'Brien will take you on a wonderful ride through the not so glamour side of the City of Angels as she takes the bus to and from her many Doctor and Hospital visits for chemo and radiation therapy, as she is battling breast cancer.
She paints a beautiful, sad, poignant, funny and entertaining story of her trials and tribulations along the way.
She does a great job of capturing the essence of many of the characters she meets on these journeys to her appointments. She made me laugh, cry and ponder the meaning of laugh. Made me realize how blessed and lucky I am. Loved this little gem. ...
