About the Project
The protagonist of East-West Orphan, Hannah, is a dual citizen of South Korea and the United States. As she moves back and forth between two countries, she is caught in the middle, unable to fit in either culture, feeling like a global orphan. This is a play for anyone who feels caught in between or like an outsider, and especially for Asian Americans who can identify with her in some aspects.
