Betrayal. Boxes. And the road to reclaiming myself.
How a nice, hard-working, Catholic girl from the Midwest lost her entire set of belief systems… and ended up finding herself. Set within the structure of an automotive training class, this is a timeless story of love and loss… told in a unique and unusual way.
This is very much a work in progress about a work in progress. The ending remains unknown. Where will the road lead? There will be laughter and tears. There will be automotive lingo. There may or may not be audience participation during the performance. And there will be an after-show dance party, at which point audience participation will be strongly encouraged. For real.
If you have ever been betrayed and been made to feel like it was your fault, then this show is for you.
If you have ever worked really hard to make a dream come true, only to watch it crumble, then this show is for you.
If you are curious what in the heck “automotive lingo” means, then this show is most definitely for you.
At the heart, it’s a story about a breakdown… then picking up the pieces and learning how to stand in one’s own truth, regardless of external expectations or consequences.
