I thought Roman Guastaferro’s performance as “Tommy” was top-notch. He was funny, engaging, and really able to use the unpredictability of a live show to his advantage.
What I didn't like
I don’t really have any criticisms, but I would’ve been down with more “air” performances by the band.
My overall impression
I loved it! Crude is gritty, funny, and fun, with a great soundtrack & sharp performances. Lots of tidbits for the heads, while still being accessible for newcomers. There’s also a cool, “spooky” vibe that pervades the show. They don’t make Hollywood stories like these anymore. See it if you can!
