At the end of summer on the outskirts of a big desert town, four co-workers and friends attempt to navigate life as women. While Robin, the youngest, deals with big changes in her life, the inner demons of her past come back to haunt her. As she slips into an eating disorder relapse, the women around her attempt to lift her up while dealing with body image and societal pressures of their own. Ribcages touches on embodiment, friendship, and what it really means to come of age as a woman, all while exploring the universality of our stories.
