What I liked
I loved the way Tony always comes back to the comedy in this show without undermining the weight and significance of the story he’s telling. every joke and aside only bolsters the message of the show. My favorite moments in this show is when he paused and held space for some of the harder truths and emotions that came up throughout the show- and one can’t help but admire his bravery in sharing his story and the very important realization he came to on that train platform.

My overall impression
I thoroughly enjoyed “Homeless Romantic”. Tony brings such a vulnerability and truthfulness to his show that has you laughing one minute and crying the next. He doesn’t sugarcoat the realities of life on the streets, but rather finds the humor and upsides in the painful moments. Watching this show was a cathartic experience that I will not soon forget.
