About the Project
No matter how diverse and divided Americans are these days, we all certainly have one thing in common: spending just short of an hour in a doctor’s office waiting room. This one act play takes place in the waiting room of a planned parenthood, following a diverse array of characters waiting to see the doctor for a many number of reasons. 12 characters performed by 3 actors spend their time in the waiting room unraveling a sometimes funny, sometimes eye-opening, story about who they are and what they’re going through until the nurse calls them in.
