What I liked

I felt taken care of throughout the show. You tackled very difficult truths and never steered away from their ugliness, but I especially think when the angel appeared it was a way for us to take a collective breath with each other before moving on to the next part. A palette cleanser of sorts. Honestly, it also felt like a courageous choice on your part because it was also a way to take care of yourself right in front of us.

What I didn't like

I watched from home through the live stream, so this is more about the technology of capturing live performances. I was so glad there was a three camera set up, because I feel it mimics the live experience better than if it were just one stationary camera angle. I wondered if it was ever possible to adjust the height of any of the cameras in real time to capture moments you went to the floor?

My overall impression

Absolutely stunning and riveting performance. Bowling’s deft storytelling chops drives a knife into your heart and carves out a space for hope to exist. Thank the Universe for her comedy skills, too. It helped the raw truth she served go down the gullet a little smoother.
