The Guardian character was excruciatingly good. Chocked with wit, wisdom, and incredible perspective, this character was 4-D and became a guardian to the audience as well.
Samantha’s vocal stylings exists somewhere between an ethereal Alanis Morisette and Feist and the songs were heartbreaking and haunting.
This artist has grit and the show has teeth. Beautiful, brutal honesty permeate this piece about being lost and losing your lifeline, and how keep your head above water after.
What I didn't like
There was a radio playing throughout the show that was distracting to everyone. Felt more like a venue issue than anything.
My overall impression
Samantha has tapped into something raw and spiritual. Sharply written, deeply personal, regrettably relatable, and hella funny. See this show!
