Sam put her heart on her sleeve and told a story, well, many stories, that she absolutely believed in to her soul. It’s hard to perform a one person show when you are playing yourself most of the time. When is it acting and when is it JUSTYOU. I never felt like Sam broke her “character” or focus.
What I didn't like
maybe a little touch of velcro on the top of the suit coat and the back side to the wings. Felt like they were going to fall of during the 2nd angel segment. They were reclipped for the rest of the show.
My overall impression
This One Woman show was delightful, funny, provocative, sweet, sincere and deeply moving. Beautifully emotional story of love, friendship, loss, and life. From the first tap and strum to the final bow Samantha had me hooked. The top of my recommendations list. Congratulations.
