Against the Shore is a re-telling of Stephen Crane’s classic short story, The Open Boat. After the sinking of their ship, four characters from differing walks of life are stranded on a dinghy in the middle of the ocean. There is land ahead, but it is elusive. Tempers rise, faith is tested as they must decide whether to keep drifting or fight against the impossible.
