What I liked
Truly SUPERB direction made this piece mesmerizing! Granted, Marisa O’Brien had a stellar ensemble of actors to help tell this story, but it took true leadership and vision to deliver all of the nuances in this piece. While I’m giving out the candy, these actors really were TOP NOTCH!! Each is deserving of true praise and had individual moments to shine… and they certainly did! BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO!!
What I didn't like
On the super nit-picky side… I honestly think the piece could have a stronger title. I know, I know… don’t hate me.
My overall impression
This was a very powerful, compelling drama that was superbly directed, acted, and written! This ensemble moved like a well-oiled machine. As an audience member who came in not knowing much, I felt truly inspired to share this journey that playwright, Jeff Dinnell took me on! It was riveting to see the cast explore how the bonds of friendship are tested when one of your own is gone.
