The casting choices were superb, the writing had the stylized charm of an antiquity play, the story was simple and easy to follow, the performances were endearing, larger than life, and charismatic.
What I didn't like
The heavy exposition at the beginning of a historical piece is a tough task for any actor, and will surely improve over the course of the show. The writer/director/and star of the show seemed a tad overworked but persevered nonetheless. More runs and more familiarity with the space will most likely remedy these issues.
My overall impression
A charming stylized retelling of a historical narrative with enthusiastic performances, and a love for the subject material.
