I really appreciated Ryan’s positive and welcoming energy. He was very open to people participating at their own comfort level and made sure to be encouraging and inclusive. The exercises were diverse and got us thinking about different elements of ourselves and our bodies.
What I didn't like
I wish the last two exercises were switched because I felt a bit down after doing the final shadow exercise and I wish we had saved the exercise on the roles we played in our lives for last, as I felt more empowered after that one.
My overall impression
This workshop is a great introduction to drama therapy and how to get into your body and understand yourself, your thoughts, and your feelings better. It reminds me of the teachings of the book “The Lucid Body.”
