Trapped in a passionate and extremely intense creative process, Leticia, a Latin American writer will deposit her last “hopes” in the ‘I-Ching’, an ancient Chinese oracle. She suffers from anxiety and insomnia and has lost contact with the outside world. Her deepest wish is to obtain “first world’s recognition and success in Hollywood but by doing so, her identity and ethics are jeopardized. She will rent her extra room to Amelia (20’s), an innocent, naïve, romantic and superstitious young woman. Leticia will soon discover that her roommate is addicted to the I-Ching, a Chinese, as she is constantly and desperately looking for answers about the future, especially about her romantic life. As they continue to live together, Leticia finally finds inspiration and uses Amelia’s superstition to create a story. And, at certain point, the audience will not be able to distinguish between reality and fiction.
