Intense, powerful, controlled, funny, sarcastic, tender. This show deserves all the best adjectives I can think of. Tl. is a super talented actress and I couldn't be more happy to see a grown up woman shining on the stage like a beautiful diamond, offering all the facets of her being.... full review

Some plays/performances make me laugh, others make me think, a few stun with technical skill and passion, some do indeed make me weep. The Book That Won't Close does all of the above and more.... full review

TL is an astonishing talent. Her physical presence alone is enough to keep one's attention completely riveted, but there's much, much more to this powerful, layered performance.... full review

Jaw dropping performance. Buckle up because you are going on a ride! This performance made me smile, cry, dance and laugh. TL's talent and presence is captivating, she is the total package. Her show will take you TRULY and DEEPLY into the world that someone who has the blessing of hearing could not understand if not for this amazing, perfectly performed, beautifully written performance. . Directed in a brilliant way to keep your focus on the story, the HONESTY that also takes you into a world that we all have experienced in some form and I didn't realize that until I saw this show, the world is a love addict. ... full review

A Must See...A Solo Show at it's finest! I have seen this show not 1...not 2, but 6 times...Since it's Stage Reading in July 2019 and Like a Lays...I couldn't just have One...performance! This is a master class of solo shows in the most unique way...the reinforced direction, the writing...such poetry in motion...with body felt flowing movements and truth told story...entertainment, raw and educating with a dash of witty funny zingers. TL Forsberg is a handful of Skittles...an explosive rainbow of colors in every aspect of her solo piece of amazing theatre. ... full review

What a powerhouse performance! TL takes you through the chapters of her life as if each is a part of the book that tries to explain how she got to where she is from moment-to-moment. Packed with extremely expressive facials and constantly emotional body movement, TL's life experience as a "hard of hearing" person living in a fluid no man's land of diversity packs a punch that will shake you to your soul. And kudos to her uncredited ASL interpreter whose entertaining presence often becomes an important part of the show's humor!... full review
