What I liked

I think the subject matter was incredibly timely. We as a community need to see stories like this that reflect the society in which we live and remind us why it is paramount that systemic racism be wrenched from our institutions and national consciousness. Our country needs immediate and far-reaching social justice and the arts, especially theatre, films and television have the opportunity to bring ideas and concepts to audiences that stimulate discussion and promote change. I thought the character of Recycle was especially beautifully written and brilliantly performed.

What I didn't like

The only thing that could have enhanced this production would have been if the pandemic were over and we could all have experienced the show in a live theatre venue. It would have been even more powerful and compelling.

My overall impression

I thought this was an outstanding presentation! The play was beautifully written and the actors were all exceptional. I also thought the zoom medium was used very successfully along with the inclusion of the stage directions.
