How talented the actress/ play write was!!!I had no idea how emotionally involved and wrapped up in her story I would be!! Yesterday a group of us went to see Italome's one woman show MERMAID. The play and story were so moving and heartfelt that we all remarked on how glad we were for the experience. Italome is such a good actor that I wanted to comfort her throughout the play. Luckily I didn't jump up so save her. Afterwards, Italome explained to me "that's called acting" WOW I am so glad to experience her life and deepest feelings Kathy... full review

I didn't realize how invested I was in Mermaid until the final moment when the impact of the show hit me all at once. It was riveting! I didn't want it to end and yet I feel as though it hasn't ended... Mermaid has stayed with me for days, existing in the space between the real and the mythical. How much of our lives is constructed by designs and machinations beyond our control? It's an engaging, humorous, and suspenseful tale filled with wonder, heart and humanity.
