What I liked
The performance was truly wonderful, well-sung and performed! Steve engaged his audience immediately and you could tell this was an actor who very clearly LOVES what he does in all facets – acting, singing, and playing his instrument! The audience absolutely appreciated going along for the ride from beginning to end and I believe would happily go with him to camp any summer he wants :-)
What I didn't like
While I personally liked that the songs were short and sweet, perhaps adding a few more that are longer, more developed and tell more of a story might help make the show a 90-minute piece. Food for thought.
My overall impression
What a genuinely delightful musical filled with some sweetness and some tartness – just what you’d expect from your favorite GINGER! The humor and tender moments were equally balanced in the right measure – just what you’d expect from your favorite GINGER!
