I enjoyed this show much more than I was expecting to. I was invited by a friend and wanted to go support, so I bought a ticket. I did not go in to the show with any expectations, and am glad that it ended up being a really enjoyable show to see. ... full review

Emily Powers' Sunday Night at Jane's follows a group of unsuspecting exes who individually delve into their relatably rich histories and struggles, ultimately finding companionship among each other. The actors, writer, and director have done a wonderful job to showcase what it truly means to be a young adult in the complex dating world, exploring turmoil, comedy, and love that the audience will no doubt absorb. ... full review

Sunday at Jane’s was a totally original, heartfelt, funny and unique play. The performances were extraordinary, and each character brought something unexpected and yet totally vital to the show as a whole. The relationships between the characters, Jane’s exes, were funny, competitive, and at times incredibly sweet and sad. The range of personality types, sexualities, and relationships had with Jane was all across the board. The show dealt with heartbreak, missed opportunities, cancer, asexuality, jealousy, and the feeling that we may not remember people as they are, but instead as we wish they were. From the start Sunday Night at Jane’s takes you on a whirlwind journey of hilarious jokes and heartfelt moments. Playwright Emily Powers takes what would normally panic attack inducing situation and injects wonderful playfulness and sincerity into the work.
