What I liked
I’m used to seeing Twirly as a free roaming character who runs off always too soon, so having a full 45 minutes is pleasant, non-sensical joy. There were clearly some technical problems, but Twirly stayed in character, so it made those moments some of the best… that’s Fringe magic!
What I didn't like
I would like to see some sort of plot developed here, just to bookend it with a start and finish. But the raw nature of the show seems to work best with outside input, so maybe notes should be ignored, and just let Twirly be Twirly.
My overall impression
I was already familiar with Twirly the Clown: 45 minutes of Twirly the Clown. Which is really all I wanted, and that’s exactly what was delivered. Pure, silly, sometimes manic, heart pleasing fun.
