What I liked
It is incredibly fun to watch Christine curate moments from the different periods of her life, and each episode is wonderful in its own right, made even better by being wrapped up into this absolute gift of a show!
Christine’s presence on stage is brimming with energy and honesty and is definitely a highlight of the show! Hilarious, confident, and a captivating storyteller.
The wizard college counselor… you just have to go see it.
What I didn't like
Dare I say nothing?? I dare. 10/10.
My overall impression
Christine Covode proves with Dear Mom, Sorry for Being a B!tch that she can do it all! The show’s nostalgic plot ranges from utter hilarity to tear-jerking poignancy and Christine operates the funnest emotional rollercoaster you’ve ever been on while somehow riding along with you, probably doing really funny faces during the pictures. With infectious energy Christine journeys through the joy and innocence of childhood to the trying times of adolescence, and the audience gets to absorb her philosophical musings and all-too-relatable antics as if reading a friend’s diary. You will reach the end of this completely delightful and inspiringly open performance having laughed, cried, and really wanting Christine Covode to be your new best friend.
