What I liked

I loved the acting. Each character was so specific and different yet relatable.
There was not an empty moment even when there was no one speaking. It moved at a great pace.
The dialogue was straight Southern Florida phrases and cadence. I’m from Nashville, Tennessee and I know people all like this and know people who have been in situations like these. My favorite scene was where the two couples were dancing while talking. Very imaginative blocking .
Loved the music choices. Great set.
Just what was needed.
Loved the sound effects. It made me feel like I was sitting near and in the water.
Loved Mr. Scaley and the brother’s hat and T-shirt blazer combo!

What I didn't like

I would make the whiskey darker in the bottle and in the glass.

My overall impression

A very funny, touching play that cuts to the quick and pulls no punches.
It’s refreshing to a see a play that tells the truth even when it isn’t pretty!
Loved the Southern Florida swamp crabbing characters.
Each character was so specific, flawed and different yet relatable. They all were distinctly Southern in attitude, beliefs and cadence.
There was not an empty moment even when there was no one speaking. Very moving!
A great evening at the theatre!
