What I liked
I loved the acting. Each character was so specific and different yet relatable.
There was not an empty moment even when there was no one speaking.It moved at a great pace.
The dialogue was straight Southern Florida phrases and cadence. I’m from Nashville, Tennessee and I know people all like this and know people who have been in situations like these.My favorite scene was where the two couples were dancing while talking. Very imaginative blocking .
Loved the music choices. Great set.
Just what was needed.
Loved the sound effects. It made me feel like I was sitting near and in the water.
Loved Mr. Scaley and the brother’s hat and T-shirt blazer combo!
What I didn't like
I would make the whiskey darker in the bottle and in the glass.
My overall impression
A very funny, touching play that cuts to the quick and pulls no punches.
It’s refreshing to a see a play that tells the truth even when it isn’t pretty!
Loved the Southern Florida swamp crabbing characters.
