About the Project
“Your Heart’s Desire” is a romantic-comedy short film about missed opportunities in the love department.
Sheldon Jackson is a trumpet player for a community orchestra,along with his best friend,Lois Sinclair. Sheldon tells Lois about his previous night’s date, who was attracted to a man sitting at the next table with HIS date. Lois explains to Sheldon the many reasons that women are attracted to a “taken” man. When a new flute player, Madison Harper,is introduced to the orchestra, Sheldon decides to test this theory by having Lois pose as his girlfriend to attract the attentions of Madison. The plan works a little TOO well, as Sheldon realizes that he’s been in love with his best friend (his heart’s desire) all along.
