What I liked
Both actors fully committed to their roles and did not hold back – Stevenson especially took us on the journey of the transition that happens in the middle of the play.
What I didn't like
Nothing much comes to mind that I would change. The show could be a little tighter at points to make a more succinct and even more powerful show. Some story points could be shown without dialogue, but other than that, I can’t think of anything to change about this powerful, fantastic show!
My overall impression
A very intense exploration of a necessary and sadly relevant reality we have been struggling with for some time. A push and pull of identities struggling to break free of a toxic masculinity that pervades almost every nook and cranny of our lives.
