What I liked
An imaginative telling of a playwrights journey…very well written. The cast were all terrific! The staging was very well done…great use of that space for this play. The play within the play was hysterical! I really liked how the story unfolded between dream and reality, past and present. The playwright gave us bread crumbs to follow and as each scene was played you were lead deeper into this journey.
What I didn't like
There was one scene that confused me right in the middle of the play when the male lead meets his boyfriend’s parents…wasn’t sure how that fits into the story. I think I may have missed something that connected that scene with the rest of the play.
My overall impression
This was a delightful show that brought together some great comedy with some very moving and touching moments in the heroines story. Terrific ensemble piece!
