What I liked

I attended the non-nude audience press preview so I didn’t get the part of the experience where the audience was naked – I imagine that’s a powerful and empowering experience for many, though I was grateful to get to see the show (as someone who was not interested in attending a show naked myself!). I found the show to be fun and eye opening – in particular I was surprised – having never seen 6 actors do a show almost entirely naked for an hour – how fast that becomes sort of normal…

What I didn't like

There were several very unnerving moments where the main character was regarded in a way that was incredibly uncomfortable to watch, (seemingly) merely for the sake of comic relief. It was funny in theory but problematic. Whether the character was new to Naturism or moderately nervous about it, he was a vulnerable naked person and it was uncomfortable watching the narrative of several characters not respecting his boundaries – tickling him, touching him in a way that showed what seemed like a lack of social knowledge and boundaries… That same sort of joke was made at least 4 times, and in a show where these characters are many theatergoers only intro to naturism I’d love to have seen them be more socially aware. If it were a female Character in the same role these actions would easily fall into the category of sexual harassment but I’m guessing most were not phased cause it was toward a male character…

My overall impression

A fun, light comedy, though not without substance. A great choice for those looking to get outside their comfort zone and see something they don’t see every day!
