The actors handled the portrayal of grief with all the nuance it deserves. I was impressed and relieved that this isn’t a show of two people crying for thirty minutes – it was two strong, layered women who grapple with impending tragedy with levity and charm. AND they gave out funeral potatoes at the end! So delicious!
What I didn't like
The show was so short! Which is refreshing in Fringe, but when it ended I was immediately wanting to see one more scene! One more interaction! Closure! I guess leaving the audience wanting more isn’t such a bad thing, and certainly not the fault of the production.
My overall impression
A simple and poignant show that has something big to say in a short amount of time.
