What I liked
The cheesy potatoes we got at the end! Haha. No but really, the two actresses did an amazing job. They had great chemistry and shared a lovely friendship onstage. I also thought the script was great in being short but still very impactful and moving.
What I didn't like
Nothing really! I think I sat right under the A/C so there was one intimate moment where I couldn’t hear the actors 100%, but it was brief.
My overall impression
Funeral Potatoes is such an endearing show. The script is short and sweet and gives you a beautiful little glimpse into the lives of two best friends as they deal with the incredibly hard fact that one of them knows they’re going to die soon. This show hit really close to home, and the wonderful acting, writing, and directing of this piece tied together to tell a really lovely story.
