I really enjoyed Kiri Callaghan’s script, and for such a short show it delves well into heavy themes while retaining a refreshing levity. Also the company hands out to-go bags of the titular side dish as you exit. This hungry fringer was grateful for the sustenance!
What I didn't like
I would be interested in seeing the story, which is a little spare, develop and get to know the characters more intimately. Overall, nice work!
My overall impression
A charming two-hander exploring the acceptance of mortality at a young age. Whitney Montgomery and Lauren Cook have great friendship chemistry onstage and hop well through rather quick beat changes. A heart-warming and thoughtful way to spend a half-hour!
