What I liked

The part I enjoyed most was Helen Burak’s writing and performance as herself in the opening short play. The heated conversation between her past and future self was really fun to watch play out and landed in a really satisfying way (no spoilers).

What I didn't like

Not much but I could hear some traffic behind me which made the dialogue a little hard to hear at times. I think the door was left slightly ajar to keep the room cool? It wasn’t a huge deal honestly.

My overall impression

“Paper Trails” was fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for humorous and touching short stories tied together by a single theme. Walking the tightrope between comedy and drama is never easy, but these three stories pulled it off so well.
