If you like interactive murder mystery-esk performances, this is for you. The experience was the most fun I had in a while — the cast are fully committed to their characters and it is more than easy to start to make a connections with the Gods. It felt natural to start to pick sides and almost take on some of the character’s motivations. Overall, a fantastic, fun presentation, that never left me with a moment of pause or boredom. ...

Smart, entertaining, interactive as hell, and just damned fun. Three of us ranging in ages from 12 (my son) to 19 (my daughter) to 46 (me) were fully engaged for 2 hours by the storytelling, the challenges, and the overall atmosphere. Amazing what they were able to pull off in what would seem like a limited setting, but feels full and well-realized. ...

It felt like being in a live-action video game! No other production I've been to has allowed me to actually "become" part of the story as much as ASCEND did. All of the production elements helped me feel like a true demigod, and I can't wait to come back and try out another storyline to see how the story changes! ...

An immersive play that is just flat out fun, and completely enjoyable. Very detailed in the elaborate plot, and the many variations the story can go. It was so much fun, that even a day later I'm still thinking about what I could have done differently. This is what immersive plays should aspire to be like. Job well done to everyone involved!...

The cast did a really good job for the budget that they were allotted. The costumes looked good, and the performers embodied their personas well.
The experience was unique and nothing like I have ever been apart of before. It was pretty well refined for the amount of improvisation that is required in something of this intensity.
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys watching improve as well as improving themselves.
Good job, can’t wait to go again....

A fun blend of immersive theater, carnival, RPG, and history, Ascend puts you into the shoes of Unnamed Hero and let's you do what you will with your time among the gods. Playful and fun, the biggest strength comes from the lack of linear structure, giving the audience ample time to gather what story or experience they wish. ...

The immersion was quite good - I like the overall concept of the show and can easily see how it would be carried even further. I enjoy that the deities are meant to have a level match with the audience members, with my main drawback being that the show deals with a 'numbers' issue, but which I think can be solved through progressive ironing out....
