I liked how conversational the actors were with each other. The relationship between Albert and his nagging mother was so comical and real, I think everyone can relate on some level. I thought there was a very good sense of atmosphere despite a simple set. Only the bare props necessary but the costuming, props and set were very effective. I also liked the subtle lighting design and sound which added to the mood.
What I didn't like
I thought overall the sense of mystery and danger was there but I did wish the stakes were a little higher and the creepy factor was a little more intense.
My overall impression
I really enjoyed this mysterious show. Great acting overall, nice pace, smooth transitions and wonderful use of the infamous “Pinter pause”.
